A friend whom I recently re-met recently from .Ca was enquiring about the availability of tiatr scripts in Goa. Are any available? I do know that the Tiatr Academy here, for instance, recently released the script of my good neighbour Albert D'Souza's *Mummy, Mhaka Tujea Vegin Dhor* in the form of a very reasonably-priced book/let. http://www.archive.org/details/ThreeTiatrkonkaniTheatreBooksReleasedInGoaIndia
But am not sure how many such titles are available. Apparently, some in the expat communities overseas would like to consider the possibilities of staging some Konkani tiatrs there. Needless to say, this is a largely a labour of love. There are no millions to be made in such an activity. But it could surely help promote language and tradition in distant communities. If anyone has such scripts, which you might be willing to share (moral rights of the author will definitely be protected and promoted), then please let everyone know via goa...@goanet.org FN Frederick Noronha :: +91-9822122436 :: +91-832-2409490 Meet me on Twitter @fn http://twitter.com/fn --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Protect Goa's natural beauty Support Goa's first Tiger Reserve Sign the petition at: http://www.goanet.org/petition/petition.php ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
