1: Gabriel de Figueiredo: Wonder what the bomboimcars like Lambert
Mascarenhas who strived to get the Portuguese out of Goa have to say
about this. Why should bomboimcars be interested in Portuguese
nationality? Is their land now sorrowing as well?

2: Floriano Lobo: Goans BEWARE, Please do not attend this SEMINAR.
Stay away at ALL COSTS. It will only help in DRAINING more GOANS to
European Ghettoes. And fill up GOA with Rest of INDIA'S undesirables.

3: Oscar Lobo: Was it not Catholic mumboimcars who pushed Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru to "invade" Goa ?

It is not easy to obtain Portuguese citizenship.

COMMENT:

a: Personally, I see NO harm in attending a sales seminar. Information
is always enlightening and beneficial.

b: It is true that those who travel on an Indian passport, face
hurdles which the Portuguese passport holders are less likely to face.

c: We need to remember that just obtaining a Portuguese, does not
guarantee any Goan any job anywhere.

d: Open competition is very tough. IF one is to succeed, one must be prepared.

e: Among the preparatory steps: Study Portuguese and Learn how to
communicate properly and decently in English - whatever your accent.

f: Seriously and continuously upgrade one's academic and technical
skills; Retrain in how one conducts one's self in public, on the job
and with others; Leave behind those uncouth and disordeiro tendencies
that some of us have picked up in the past several decades (unless we
want to join the football hooligans).

f: Be prepared to work very very hard.....IF we are to have a chance
at succeeding; Otherwise, we will be relegated to playing the tool of
the unprepared and unqualified i.e. "race card". (Not that
discrimination does not happen. It happens all over the place
including in India)

g: BTW, If Goans were trained, retrained and 'prepared', they would
likely succeed no matter which passport they possessed.

ps1: As far as Lambert and Co are concerned, I am happy that they are
happy to see and experience the degradation that has been wrought upon
Goa. [ I am not mentioning the pseudo-FFs and those who landed in
custody for rape, bigamy or armed chori etc. Oh puleeasse ....save me
the well worn clichés & the bogus platitudes wrt the chors who
carry/carried Portuguese bullets wherever. Try the same anarchic
behaviour now and see what happens......unless you have 'backing']

ps2: I would not discourage any Goan from reclaiming his or her
Portuguese nationality, which is a Right accorded to the eligible
ones. I say, Go Ahead, If you feel ready for the challenge of global
competition.

To those who are looking ONLY for the Portuguese passport, and believe
that somehow the passport will find them jobs, I have NIL to say. They
are welcome to waste their time and money with 'agents'.
