Whenever you ask what's his passion, Trinidadian jazz guitarist Clifford Charles with eyes glinting declares: "it's music or nothing." This definitely shows as scores of fans of his home grown brand of silky smooth jazz music is convinced that Clifford is set to take on the world. He performed at some of the flagship music festivals such as Jazz Artist On The Greens, We Beat Jazz, Jazz Point, Tobago Jazz Festival. He has shared the stage with Randy Crawford, Joe Sample, and the Drifters.Clifford is by no means resting on his laurels not by a long shot. He has a new CD entitled "Songs From Deep Within" which was recorded and produced by the artiste himself. Clifford says that the creative process for this CD came from a good feeling that he had from within himself based on all the positives that surrounded him. So what can Caribbean and international music audiences expect from Clifford Charles? Nothing less than a tapestry of smooth jazz expression, created from the very soul of the artiste! “It's an honor to be featured on The Jazz Network Worldwide among such talented artists.
