Senor Mendonza,
Have been meaning to pop in a small note on the business of h ate.
You see, one the the prominent members (elected with a humping or is
it thumping, majority in the noorth)....runs a sunday school/club (not
in his present constituency). Nice you'd say. One sees children and
adults going to the club ever sunday. How nice (no lungi-wallas
allowed).
A friend-of-a-friend got invited there. He, an engineer by profession,
went and went regularly. He learnt the set up of the school, that is,
its divided into five-tiers. Nice again.
He was sick to the stomach when he learnt one sunday of the items
being discussed in the two inner tiers was 'how to h ate other
c*mmunities'. One asked him in what way. Said as an example, if you
are playing football with people from other communities, h urt them.
Like damage them. He left, never to return.
But the larger question is, what world do we live in, where someone
orchestrates organized h atred. This is sick. On the other hand, one
may argue there is no proof....the club, what goes on.
Sure.
It sickens me to think some of these h ate-mongers were in the front
row at MS's funeral.
One hopes they are enlightened some day.
