"Goa has been on the worst possible kind of development trajectory regardless of political changes. An inexorable path of destructive development, regardless of the politics, who wins etc. No use crying. It's all over the world. And the profits go into the pocket of developers, miners, and politicians. Our job is to support the protesters and try to give feedback to the policy makers - they may listen if we bring things to their attention and offer alternatives. We can only try, don't give up."
