This is merely generic comment, not necessarily related to the inclusion of books in the collections of libraries:
1: Frederick Noronha has provided excellent guidance wrt the procedure relating to books published in Goa. 2: If we have a product or a talent, we need to make it known, IF others are to recognise it. That the product has to be good and what the public want is a given. 3: Often times, we may be required to apply apply several times (i.e. promote/market) before we succeed. 4: The feeling of frustration is normal, but depression and the feeling of rejection/persecution/conspiracy is never the option used by those who succeed. 5: Melvyn also makes a good point: We would do well to acknowledge the assistance of others. Every bit helps. 6: I recommend a change in the subject title (in our thought processes only, now): From: Goan books by certain Goan authors excluded in Goan libraries: Why the selective deliberate exclusions? To: Goan books by certain Goan authors not found in Goan libraries: What can the authors do to facilitate their inclusion? 7: I believe that Frederick has already answered the ' What can the authors do to facilitate' question in #6. 8: On our own part, we may also wish to remember that transactions which involve public funding, always have procedures and are never always guaranteed with success. 9: As stated earlier, If we are to increase the chances of success, we would do well to persevere. jc
