Shabash jc this is surely the sentiment we Goenkars should reflect. The Majority of Goans voted not to merge with Maharasthra and feel that we are Goan NOT Maharastrian. Those who feel that they are Maharastrian, have my vote to pack up and move to that state where thay will soon learn the true facts about their brothers with, as you say, their Nasal broken Marati and scant knowledge of Devnagari. Leave Goa to those of us, the majority, who know that WE ARE GOAN.
