Season’s greetings from The International Centre Goa! As you are aware, we have been organising the GOA ARTS & LITERARY FESTIVAL since last two years. Our partners include the Goa Writers Group, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), the Sahitya Akademi, Indian Ateliers Goa, National Book Trust, Goa Konkani Akademi, Gomantak Marathi Academy, Dept. of Tourism of Jammu & Kashmir, City of Panjim, Kala Academy, Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Entertainment Society of Goa, Goa Tourism and others.
This year the Festival is scheduled from 13th to 17th December 2012. In addition to the award winning novelist - Shashi Deshpande and the eminent poet – Eunice De Souza, His Excellency the Governor of Goa has agreed to inaugurate the Festival at a special function to be held at the Kala Academy where the Hon. Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir and Hon. Chief Minister of Goa will be the Guests of Honour. In this regard, I am pleased to request you to kindly depute a senior correspondent to the 1st Press Conference of the Festival on Thursday, 15th November 2012 at 11:30 am at The International Centre Goa. The Press Conference will be addressed by the representatives of the partners of the Festival to announce the list of delegates, various venues, and tentative programme of the Festival.
