Especially arrived for Sunday's birdwalk is the Common buzzard which
made today its first appearance.
Besides the Common buzzard we can hope to see various other raptors such
as the White eyed buzzard, Eurasian harrier, Pallid harrier, Spotted
eagle, White bellied sea eagle, Shikra and, of course, plenty of kites.
Part of the walk will be up hill, a moderate climb, and, at some places
on the ground there are sharp stones and occasionally thorns, so good
shoes are advisable.

The Goa Bird Conservation Network, an informal network of individuals
interested in birds and related issues, will conduct a birdwalk this
Sunday, the 3^rd of February 2013. The walk will traverse the
beautiful Pilerne Plateau, home to many resident and migrant birds.
Participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of birdwatching,
familiarized with the bird species that we encounter on the walk, and

2.Please wear dull-coloured clothes. This will enable us to get closer
to the birds without startling them.
3.Carry along snacks, drinking water and anything else you may need.
