Partho Nag, a childhood friend of Shubhrangshu Roy's who lives in the same New Delhi suburb. Mr. Nag, who runs an IT service company out of his home, joined Mr. Roy and other friends as they volunteered at the Hazare protests. "We've been told since our childhoods, 'Politics is bad, don't get into politics,'" Mr. Nag said. "But the point is that somebody has to clean it up. We can't just scold people."

NOTE:
This slide has importance for GOA in particular.
The general tendency in Goa is for the people to say the same thing. "Politics is dirty. I don't want to soil myself" That is where GOA SU-RAJ CAME INTO THE PICTURE in the year 2000 to tell GOANS that:-

1. POLITICS CAN ALSO BE CLEAN and not necessarily be DIRTY.

2. THAT POLITICS RUNS OUR LIVES from morning till night. EXAMPLE: It does not even allow you to sleep in peace at night when the power plays hide and seek throughout the night with 'ceiling fans' goings off to activate mosquitoes to bother you. BOTH ARE THE RESULT OF DIRTY POLITICS BUT AVOIDABLE THROUGH CLEAN POLITICS.

3.BY TERMING POLITICS AS DIRTY, YOU GIVE CARTE-BLANCHE TO THE DIRTY POLITICIANS TO DO WHAT THEY WANT. SO WHAT IS THE USE OF COMPLAINING AND PROTESTING WITH ANNA HAZARE?

4. IT IS SAID THAT 'IF YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN, YOU MUST FIRST DIE" OTHERWISE IT IS JUST WISHFUL THINKING.

5. DIRTY POLITICS DOES NOT BECOME CLEAN WITH A FEW CLEAN PEOPLE JOINING THE DIRTY SYSTEMS LIKE CONGRESS, BJP ETC.... THERE IS EVERY CHANCE THAT THE CLEAN PERSON WILL BECOME VERY DIRTY IN GOOD TIME. EX: WRITER GEORGE MENEZES OF MUMBAI JOINED BJP THINKING THAT HE COULD BE THE CATALYST TO CLEAN IT'S SYSTEM. FORTUNATELY FOR HIM, HE RAN AWAY IN A SHORT TIME. GOOD FOR HIM.

6. TO HAVE CLEAN POLITICS, CLEAN PEOPLE MUST GET TOGETHER AND FORM A CLEAN SYSTEM TO JOIN IT, OR CLEAN PERSONS MUST SCOUT FOR A WRITTEN DOWN CLEAN SYSTEM TO JOIN IN, A SYSTEM LIKE GOA SU-RAJ PARTY. THIS PARTY CAN BOAST THAT THERE ARE NO DIRTY EX-POLITICIANS IN THIS PARTY NOR THERE ARE CLEAN POLITICIANS FROM DIRTY POLITICAL PARTIES. GOA SU-RAJ JUST DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE ANY CHANCES. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR A DIRTY PERSON TO GET INTO THE GSRP, OR, IF SUCH DIRTY PERSON DOES FILTER IN, HE/SHE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MANIPULATE IT'S WRITTEN DOWN SYSTEM AND BE FORCED TO LEAVE THROUGH THE BACK-DOOR.

PS: For those who are at the receiving end from 'Michael Britto', NO, I have no intentions to emulate him. The Capitals above is only to make my point clear as readers tend to focus well over CAPITALS.... :-)
