At the Casa de Goa on June 20 (Thursday), 6.30 pm -- a conference on Christianity in India: Its development in recent times and the current situation of the Catholic Church, by Fr. Galdino Monteiro.
Pe Galdino Monteiro, born in Goa and a Priest of the Missionary Society of Pilar, Goa, did his theological studies at the University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Rome) and in Clinical Psychology at the Salesian Pontifical University ( Rome). He was Professor and Dean of the Theological College, Pilar and General Counsel and Superior General of the Missionaries of St. Francis Xavier He was also the Episcopal Vicar for Religious in the Archdiocese of Goa.
