Dear Mr. Sandeep Heble I am distressed at reading the following post from Mr. Dias
More distressed because of the following reasons: a: Much of what Mr. Dias has stated, is being corroborated by Ponnjecars I communicate with on a weekly basis. b: The normally vocal Sandeep Heble is very quiet. I am hoping (though not very hopeful) that you will be able to contradict (with facts, no doubt) the statements of Mr. Dias. Sincerely jc On 19 July 2013 09:44, stephen dias <steve.dia...@gmail.com> wrote: I must tell him that Parrikar who is not from Panjim is made his seat in Panjim where he is now managing with the crooks running the CCP office. In Panjim there are only 20% actually residents from Panjim an most of them are from outside Panjim, and they ruling Panjim, this is for your information. Everybody wants to poke their nose for each and everything. Most of them are illiterates and some of those who have some knowledge or studied something are dancing with the tunes of politicians for their own benefits. Look at the Panjim Market, the CCP Mayor cleaned the walls which had lots of supari and other dirty colours and by next 2 days it has come back. Let them first get rid of defecation and urination in Panjim roads which CCP cannot achieve. Garbage is a headache for the residents of Panjim, there is no solution at all, but only promises. Parking on Goa roads is the worst in India. Parrikar has reduced the petrol but this fuel is consumed, while on searching for parking in Panjim city. What a disgraceful, do you think the residents are at fault, it is only the migrants or outsiders coming to these state selling vegetables, fish, meat etc. very less locals are selling these items in them market, CCP rented these slots to outsiders ganties, and the vehicles are crowded all over the places for supplies of goods coming from Belgaum and other parts of Maharastra, the roads are packed. These are the one who have spoil the market and in these days we see even the platforms full of dirty water and we cannot even walk freely, forget about the senior citizens like me. Nobody from CCP take importance for this. They are only fighting for KODEL and money. The Mayor S.Furtado begged with Parrikar yesterday for Rs.500 crores to look after the CCP which Parrikar has announce in the Hall at Marquinez Alva, at old GMC where I and my friends have attended for the Panjim presentation “New Look of Panjim by LKS Spain” contractors Ms Maria a main architect of the company. The presentation was not so bad, but it does not fit to our environment of our Goan standard and for Panjim at large, that city will look completely different and the style of our Old Panjim will be vanished once for all if the project comes into existence after spending crores of rupees. First of all they do not know where there are drains in Panjim during Portuguese time. CCP has no maps and no old plans from Portuguese time. Once the road comes, again they will break or dug the roads on account of rain storm water stagnation. The building shape will look knew and Portuguese old architecture will be lost. The presentation was huge which makes to understand the budget requirement will be more than 2000 crores. And Parrikar when I have confronted during question hour he said to me, not to worry for that, he will make all the finances of Rs.1000 crores in phase manner, and I said it is not sufficient and will not be possible. Do not know from where he will beg the money, may be from casinos which once he said that he needs Rs. 150 crores after he made U-turn when he was in the opposition he wanted to get rid of casinos out of Mandovi river and now he wants money. You all see how this IIT man is going to manage Panjim and Goa when there is no money, Mining is also shunted out from his pockets, and very soon after his turn of ministry he too be leaving I suppose to foreign country and forget Goa. In this way MOPA will never come into existence and Panjim project also will suffer with lots of objections and defeats from Panjimites because this project will never materialize without budget and Panjim will be damaged with full of garbage materials of the project generated from the new constructions by this LKS contractors Spain, as they plan to make Panjim look like St Antonio city of Spain. Finally let Parrikar CM, or Mayor Surendra Furtado or CCP Commissioner Sanjit Rodrigues show first Panjim city and Panjim market at international standard as a test and than he can concentrate for Mopa airport international.
