Folks, I was viewing some home video's the other day and came across this snip of Calangute beach which I thought I should share with all (interested.) Some of you are old enough to recognize/remember how Souza-Lobo's looked yesterdecade. Notice that the Tourist Hostel looks brand new? I clearly remember that the day after this home movie was shot. A band contest (which I think was the "Silma All India Band Contest" took place at the same spot. In those days, if you were not close to the loudspeakers on stage (150 watts) the crowd and the wind soon drowned the music. No prices for guessing which month this movie was shot. However, I am interested to see if anyone can guess or give me the correct year. I also would be pleased to know if anyone can recognise/identify any of the people in the video.
