Goans must note that those who are demanding Official Status for Marathi in Goa are asli MAHARASTRIAN masquerading as GOANS. The Goa Su-Raj Party's official agenda is to amend the Language Act, 1987 to remove (1) The Konkani Script shall be in DEVANAGRI, and (2) Marathi shall also be used for all official purposes. GSRP will see to it that the pipe dream of Maharastrians in Goa shall never ever be realized. This is the promise that GSRP has made to GOANS when it was born 13 long years ago and will see to it that this promise is fulfilled totally and completely. If Official status for Marathi is sought by Maharashtrians in Goa, then let them confer the Official status for Konkani in Maharashtra.
