A Note to our members:

Lori Jenaire has been a good friend to The Jazz Network Worldwide since its
inception.  She recently underwent vocal chord surgery and was told that she
couldn't speak for a significant amount of time to achieve a successful
healing.  I had the opportunity to witness her strength and dignity as she was
shut off to the world in spoken word form and witnessed her perservance to
'stay the course'.  I asked Lori what that experience was like for her...

"The procedure was to remove a benign growth from my vocal chords that had
prevented me from singing for almost a year, the time I spent in recovery
without the ability to speak was transformative on many levels - most
importantly how our inner world informs the world around us....one can't bring
peace if they don't have it...reverence for the "word" and it's effect on
others will forever change my intent when singing and communicating."

The above engagement is her 'first time back" to the stage since her voice was
silenced.  The Jazz Network Worldwide wants to acknowledge the 'hard road'
conquered and the new found freedom of song that sits so confidently in her
heart.

Bravo Mz. Jenaire, we stand behind your melodic movements in song and may your
voice always be the bridge to telling your story the way only you can do!

All the best,
Jaijai
