I just recently updated my primary box to support unionfs. :)
But the recent problems with boot where unionfs played a part may slow  
down other peoples adaption.
I don't really think we should drop it either, because fibo sandbox works  
everywhere, union sandbox has to have the unionfs module loaded (or  
builtin support).
