I did a little survey of how many operating systems people had on their
hard drives, and while there were the occasional four, five, or six, the vast
majority had two, max three. Since it is still possible to scroll down (an
action that you would still need to do, even if all the entries were
visible), I figured that in the interest of aesthetics to make the box fit
three entries at a time.
That said, it's not too difficult to modify it, if you really want to.
I'll try writing up a HOWTO at some point in the near future.
