Unfortunately the answer is no, 014 does not support /System/Index. Lucas did add some support to the scripts (adding to the initial path flexibility changes I had made earlier when I first worked on ViewFS), but some implementations issues held him back and we focused on finishing the release with the current structure. /System/Index is _still_ in the plans, but we need to figure out how to make this departure without halting the distro development in the meantime.
