You could use rclone to encrypt a directory of files. It can also transfer them to cloud storage systems too! See rclone.org for docs and github.com/ncw/rclone for code. What you would do is configure a crypt remote using a directory on your disk. You can then rclone copy /path/to/unencryptedfiles remote: It perhaps isn't exactly the workflow you want but it is written in Go!
