In the page Installing Go from source <https://golang.org/doc/install/source>, of the section below, branch 'go1.9' should be changed to 'release-branch.go1.9'.
Fetch the repository Go will install to a directory named go. Change to the directory that will be its parent and make sure the godirectory does not exist.
