Google funds a great deal of Go development, but it seems extremely narcissistic of them to put their corporate logo on something that a lot of other people who aren't a part of Google, and don't get a paycheck from Google have also put their time into. As you said, other corporations don't feel the need to stick their logo all over everything. Go belongs to more than just Google. The copyright statement says "The Go Contributors". Google (and the core Go team that works for them) are just one of those Contributors. Should we put every company that's ever signed the CLA on the website too? —Sam -- Sam Whited -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "golang-nuts" group.
