Are you saying that there are people out there playing below their
abilities in all these minor tournaments in order to win that big,
handicapped golf tournament, where the prize is a race-car. I am shocked
and disgusted.

A solution might be to give the beginners amateur status, and therefore
no prize money. They will soon promote themselves to see their overall
season money-earnings rise.
