Whoa, whoa, whoa! Please realize that although I love the sport
of Perl Golf, I have never, ever, claimed to be any good at it...
nor has anyone else clamined that I was any good. In fact, I have
never even played in the veterens bracket! I hardly deserve the
title of 'Alien', unless of course we're broadening the definition
to include people who have spent way too much time on Perl-golf-related
activities.

The definition of 'Alien' in the context of Perl Golf was coined
by Jerome in reference to Ton's inhuman golfing abilities. I *aspire*
to be that good, but since I haven't actually played Perl Golf since
January 29 (when I finished a measly sixth on the Beginner's board
of Andrew's 'Get Even' tournament), I have no idea how good I am
at this point.

It is fairly depressing that (-ugene is my age, I had imagined him
being more of a crusty old veteran programmer.
