And, it goes without saying, we golfers thank the refs
for their dedication and, yes, courage. For volunteering for
such a duty is quite akind to stand in front of a herd of emu
in full stampede mode with pockets full of bird seeds:
omnipresent is the danger to be overwhelmed, trampled and/or
pecked to death.
