Michael may not have the natural talent of a Eugene or Mtv, but he is a relentless and tenacious competitor. He delayed his bedtime for the start of this game, and has kept plugging away, and his persistence has been rewarded, for he has just moved one stroke clear of two of the greatest golfers of all time, Eugene van der Pijll and Mtv Europe.
