Hi,

There should not be a limit per se' to the number of feeds you can
request (no currently imposed limit documented), but Google has asked
to provide an API key for your app so if there is a problem (like very
heavy use) they can contact you about service optimization or
something. If you hammer on their service too much you may encounter a
captcha block or something but it would have to be a lot of multiple
requests in a very short amount of time (looking like automated
requests or virus/spyware etc).

For the most part I would think you should be OK as long as you follow
their TOS and if you provide an API key this will enable Google to be
able to contact you about service issues or concerns if it becomes a
problem.

Hope that helps :)

Cheers!
