I would suggest considering the Image Search API, but there are a number of things that you need to consider before you do. Not the least of these is copyright law: images that you find on the internet are copyrighted by the owner unless the owner has explicitly granted you rights to the image. And another is that the Image Search API TOS demand that (a) searches must be triggered by user action and (b) results must be displayed to the same end user.
If you have checked all that stuff out, there are any number of ways that you can download images. You'll just need some sort of server-side app which can follow the URLs returned by the API. Because the Image Search API is a simple RESTful web service, you could write such an app in PHP, Perl, Java, Python, Ruby, any variety of C, and more. Without more specific information about your environment and/or what you're struggling with, though, it's tough for us to suggest a more specific solution. I would suggest picking a language, giving an app a try, and if you still have problems, post back with specific questions, links to pages, relevant code snippets, etc. jg On Tue, Jun 21, 2011 at 1:23 AM, Soheil <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi guys > > According to my research i should collect numerous pictures and some > metadata about them from internet, I'm looking for how can I save the > pictures and their url address which display in google image search > > Tanks > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Google AJAX APIs" group. > To post to this group, send email to > [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/google-ajax-search-api?hl=en. > > -- Jeremy R.
