Unfortunately, no. In fact, members of the dev team (and I seem to recall an official statement, probably from the Gears team) have stated that we should not expect them to continue to support such functionality but to rely on the HTML5 geolocation API. Sadly, in the case of Opera Mini and Win Phone 7, I believe this leaves us in a lurch. I would suggest pleading with Opera to incorporate the functionality!
