While Marathi is supported by the Transliteration API, it is not supported for translation by the Translate API v2. So you will be able to get the phonetic equivalents of the letters in the words, but not the meaning of the words or sentences.
It should also be noted that the the Translate API is moving to a paid service on 1 December 2011. And the Transliteration API has been deprecated and will be shut down no later than May 2014.
