Particularly, note the comments of Bryan McQuade. Mr. McQuade, who is a member 
of the dev team, states that the JSAPI (i.e., google.load()) approach is no 
longer being updated. It will continue to work for those who have deployed it, 
but they won't guarantee the latest of anything. So if you want to use jQuery 
and/or jQuery UI from the Google CDN, you'll want to link directly to them.
