Hi all,

I'm new to the google api's and I'm a bit confused.

In the develops guide to the feeds api it says "all request need a valid
http referer".

I'm not sure how to do this - the referer might not be set if a user typed
the url his browser or if he uses a bookmark. Or if the user changed his
browser settings the referer might never be sent.

I'd only be using the api in a javascript environment. As far as I know I
can't set the referer to a default value using only javascript.

Would this be a problem?

Is there a way to set a default value to the referer (like the url of my
website)? Or do I have to use serverside scripts (like php)?

Thank you for any tipps on this.
