It's possible I'm missing something here, sorry. Adding those lines just
gives me the publication date of the event? Is that supposed to happen...?
The node in the feed I want to pull in is <eventDate>19-10-2013</eventDate>
I had thought something like:
date.appendChild(document.createTextNode(
formatDate(
new Date(
entry.xmlNode.getElementsByTagName('date')[0].firstChild.nodeValue
)
)
));
