To MP, 1. Yes, you can pull news content for a specific company from a third party website. I used to pull daily prices for stocks. There are many tools to help you easily extract specific content with little or no programming (Chickenfeet for FireFox, for instance) or you can just set up an RSS feed.
2. It all depend from where you are getting your content. Most likely, you will have a summary and a link to the content.
