Hi Nacho, I agree with you. GAE is great in many aspects. The cold-start/timeout issue is probably my only concern, too. But the sad thing is that is an absolute killer. Slow response times are a bad thing, but exceptions in the cron jobs because of virtual server start issues is unacceptable, at least in my app. That makes my app completely unreliable, worthless, so to speak.
