I have checked my logs and I only have one instance startup log when I first starting sending requests to my ping servlet.
Here is some more output from my ongoing test: EC2: Thu Nov 25 12:03:57 GMT 2010,300,0,181,298,176,2,860 Thu Nov 25 12:09:22 GMT 2010,300,0,177,299,176,1,537 Thu Nov 25 12:14:45 GMT 2010,300,0,175,299,174,1,544 Thu Nov 25 12:20:10 GMT 2010,300,0,177,298,175,2,514 Thu Nov 25 12:25:46 GMT 2010,300,0,182,298,178,2,785 Thu Nov 25 12:31:09 GMT 2010,300,0,179,299,178,1,537 AppEngine Thu Nov 25 12:03:59 GMT 2010,300,0,182,297,173,3,1097 Thu Nov 25 12:09:23 GMT 2010,300,0,173,298,170,2,586 Thu Nov 25 12:14:47 GMT 2010,300,0,172,298,169,2,684 Thu Nov 25 12:20:12 GMT 2010,300,0,172,297,168,3,599 Thu Nov 25 12:25:47 GMT 2010,300,0,180,295,170,5,722 Thu Nov 25 12:31:10 GMT 2010,300,0,173,300,173,0,0 The difference here is less severe but AppEngine is still handling a higher fraction of requests slowly and slow AppEngine requests are still on average slower than slow EC2 requests. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine for Java" group.
