we are continually working on improving the overall reliability, but on some occasions, the system will experience higher than normal latencies within the underlying infrastructure, which may manifest itself to users in the form of upload issues, timeouts (DeadlineExceeded), or other server 500 errors.
for this particular situation this Saturday morning Dec 17, the problems seem to have began around 8a PST but have all been resolve by 10a. your performance should have returned back to normal levels. we apologize for the convenience you experienced during this time. if you encounter a similar situation, pls post to the forums or create a production ticket(*) as you have been doing, esp. with any error screen captures, and your app ID, so that those of us who help monitor the system can contact the oncall team -- chances are, the team is already aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible -- we want to be "down" as much as you do... which is not at all. (*) -- to create a production ticket, go to: http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/entry and select "Production issue" from the "Template" pull down and give as much info as possible. best regards, -- wesley - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Core Python Programming", Prentice Hall, (c)2007,2001 "Python Fundamentals", Prentice Hall, (c)2009 http://corepython.com wesley.chun : wesc+api at google.com : @wescpy developer relations :: google app engine @app_engine :: googleappengine.blogspot.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine for Java" group.
