Hi there, I've got a newbie question that I'm sure has a simple answer.
I'm using the Google web development plugin for Eclipse, and I'm trying to run the example app locally on my machine. When I run it, eclipse claims to have started a local server, and spits out a URL in the "Development mode" panel. When I paste the URL into my browser I get this message: >> Safari can’t open the page “http://127.0.0.1:8888/Example.html?gwt.codesvr=127.0.0.1:9997” because Safari can’t connect to the server “127.0.0.1”. >> Also, I get a similar error when I try to connect to "http://127.0.0.1:8888/", but NO error when I connect to "http://127.0.0.1/". I'm on mac os 10.6. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Many thanks, D. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine for Java" group.
