Since a few days I get SocketTimeoutException when trying to communicate between two different apps running on app engine. App A calls B, B calls back A and this causes the timeout. I've increased the URLFetch timeout to the max but still see this error. It is reproducible. I've turned threadsafe on/off but this makes no difference.
