It seems that the RC1 of the new DataNucleus<http://code.google.com/p/datanucleus-appengine/downloads/detail?name=datanucleus-appengine-2.0.0-RC1-dist.zip>(version 2.0.0 is based on DataNucleus 3) implementation for the appengine datastore was published this week without any notice on the Google Appengine for Java list. With some luck, we'll have a chance to take it for a spin next week.
Thanks to Max Ross (Google) and Andy Jefferson (DataNucleus) for making this happen! If anyone has any pointers on making the transition from the current (DataNucleus 1ish) version to version 2.0.0, they'd be much appreciated.
