I must still be doing something wrong..

If my stored string is  ->   <b>hello</b>

If I include {{item.text}} in my template I get   ->    <b>hello</b>

and if I include {{item.text|escape}} I get ->    &lt;b&gt;hello&lt;/
b&gt;

but I am trying to achieve a bold "hello"
