Thank you for the quick reply, I could not get teh whole string to take but I dis get a result from the windows cmd shell changesd to root then did c:appcfg.py update c:\Users\DadLaptop\Documents \tombrander and that worked, using quotes around the whole string did not work for some reason. There has got to be a better way!!! Just this typing will be a real drag since the conventional Cntrl C and Ctrl V don't work in cmd shell.. Back to the books, but then I suppose the real solution it to pack the whole thing in a bat file!!
