this topic has come up before where just about every string of letters is taken - i've entered in 20 garbage chars and got lucky, but a lot of people have been saying a very unique name is taken. My apps are all made up words and are taken.
I've been entering a version number after my name since really, the users would just see my domain url and the name is just for your use.
