I am currently trying to develop an app that uses Google Voice's new "email/sms" functionality. However, when I send an email from my app to the correct email address, it simply will not go through. I am suspicious that this happens because Google Voice checks SPF records to make sure it really came from Gmail. When GAE sends out an email it uses different servers and hence does not truly imitate Gmail sending. Is that true?
