That is correct literal interpretation. However, this warning generated by App Engine JAVA version so cryptic, and not enough trace. On my regular dev machine, this error never occurred. It took me to install in different dev machine to trace the error.
This error means that somewhere is a null pointer or data not available. The URL is correct but the trace did not have enough information.
