Hi In my opinion what I am seeing can only be explained by some anomolous behaviour within the google infrastructure. (I have several other appengine applications running, some for a very long time and none are exhibiting this. It also means I am not a complete newb, though I am willing to admit I may be interpreting the evidence incorrectly )
As previously reported I have 2 instances both running the same code, 1 exhibiting DeadlineExceeded and one not. This problem starts at exactly 11:00pm google time (3:00pm West/Australia time) each day. I have several days of evidence now (appid polytechnic-wa (getting the errors) and psc-dev1 (no errors)). I am going to graph the response times of this process and present a report of what is going on and where the high cost is hitting me. I hope that with the evidence I present in my next post, someone from google will start a dialogue with me and/or even just acknowledge they have read my post. I am sure this can't be an isolated incident. Especially given the exact time of this re-ocurring event.
