According to the App Engine For Business Roadmap it will be a limited release by the end of this year: http://code.google.com/appengine/business/roadmap.html What I really would like to know is how they're going to do it: sni (could be free once you have the cert), fixed ip (will cost something) or some other voodoo. I don't see why this is a showstopper for you though.
