Hi I don't really see any advantage gained by splitting the application, and only complications. Remember each app is isolated from each other and so if you admin interface is trying to manage data in another app you will have to build a seperate remote interface for them to communicate and you will have to secure that admin path. There is also no advantage from a scalability front.
