Task Queue have been behaving strangely from the last 24 hours. You can have a look at this thread as well - https://groups.google.com/d/topic/google-appengine/IjygaiOT0Ho/discussion and check your logs to see if you are facing those errors too.
The appengine team has seen that thread and they said they're on it.
