Good catch on the what is a CDN question.
I was trying to decide if I want the customer that thinks I'm cheap :-) . It's like Cars or Hookers, the kind of person looking for a cheap one is likely not a good client :-). I have been thinking about the if you are running on GAE would we make you faster/better. We have the whole serve things really fast out of Memcache thing down, and that helps. but obviously I'm marking up the service so you'd think if you wrote your own app you could get the mem-cache working correctly and be really close to the same numbers. I'll have to think about that one and get back to you.
