Hi I created a small Java application by Eclipse and the GAE plugin. I use JDO for persistence. What surprices me is the fact that the google site deployed version is about 20 to 100 times slower than the local. (I just measure a code part within the server-side code - no startup or net traffic time included.)
Is this because I use the free hosting? Are payed hostings better?
